Mandarin Orange Pumpkins
A simple, kid-friendly fall-inspired treat during the season of chocolate, candy, and sweet treats…
Fruit Cup Pumpkins.
An ideal treat for your Fall-inspired parties, Halloween extravaganzas, or Thanksgiving gatherings.
All you need are 3 things:
Mandarin Orange cups or any fruit cup of your choice.
Green pipe cleaners or any color of your liking.
Glue (highly recommend, hot glue).
Instructions:
- Fold a pipe cleaner in half, cut.
- Take one of the pieces and fold it in half.
- One-third of the way down from the top, twist to form the “stem.”
- Bend up each straight end.
- Take a No. 2 pencil and twirl around it each end to make the “pumpkin vines.”
- Flip the mandarin orange cups upside down, then dab a dot of hot glue in the middle.
- Take your pumpkin stem and vine piece and place it on the hot glue. Hold for a few seconds to secure placement.

Did you see how simple that was?!
The simplicity and ease it took to make the ideal treat for our kid’s school book parade (in lieu of trunk-o-treat) left me giddy.
Honestly, any food cup will do! We did mango this past year for my daughter’s class. I’m thinking this year would be fun to do the traditional mixed fruit cup or pineapple paired with colorful stems. There’s also peaches in a cup. Tons of options for you to choose from so have a little fun!
